4th BASF TBM Conference
London, 28th – 29th October 2010
This year, the 4th BASF TBM Conference theme is heavily influenced by the CrossRail project in the United Kingdom.
Besides a unique review of the long history of tunnel building in London, key issues of this conference will be the characteristics of the local geology and the change of geotechnical ground properties caused by tunneling. An international team of prominent experts representing construction companies, universities, consultants, machine and component suppliers will furthermore discuss various topics, including soil conditioning, wear, data monitoring and the technical development of tunnel boring machines.
Following the Conference, which will be held on October 28th, BASF will hold a seminar day on October 29th that will be specifically dedicated to new solutions for station construction. This will include the latest news concerning MEYCO equipment machine construction, injection, sprayable membranes and fire protection technologies.
